Premium Bedding Mix
- A soil blend created at Terra Gardens.
It consists of Power Plant, Organic Mulch, Top Soil, Sawdust, Fill

soil that has been depleted of natural minerals. Can be used for
everything the Bedding
Mix is used for, and is recommended for vegetable gardens. |

 |
Bedding Mix
- A soil blend created at Terra Gardens. It consists of Power Plant,
Organic
Mulch, Sawdust & Fill Sand. The compost works as a fertilizer,
the sawdust serves as a soil additive, and the sand makes everything
mix
up nicely. An excellent blend to plant directly into, especially
when supplemented with fertilizers. It works well for raised beds,
flowerbeds, or even in planting boxes. |
|
|
 |
Terra Mulch
- This compost originated from massive
barkdust piles that have decomposed over 10 years, combined with green
goods, torn bags of soil
and varying wood products. The compost is put through a 3/4" screen,
eliminating large chunks of material. Can be
used as a soil amendment and a clay-buster. It is similar to Organic
Mulch, but is not free from weeds. It can also be used as
filler when mixed with sand or other heavy material. |
|
|
 |
Organic Mulch
- OMRI
Certified Composted agricultural debris from multiple
locations. The debris is
composted at about 160°F for approx. 6
months, then sent through 3/8” screens. The composting process makes it
free from weed
seeds, and is thus a sterile product, however, it still adds nitrogen
to the soil. It works well as compost in gardens or as a soil
additive to loosen up clay soil. It can also be used as a top dressing
for flowerbeds as an alternative to bark dust. |
|
|
 |
Nursery Blend
- A mix that is created at Terra Gardens.
It consists of Fir Barkdust, Power Plant, Organic Mulch, Slow 6 Pumice, and added minerals. The
compost
works as a fertilizer, the fir bark dust helps hold everything
together, the
pumice keeps the formula light weight. Recommended for
container gardening. Because potted plants may need to
be moved, the lighter weight makes moving them easier. |
|
|
 |
Lawn Blend

the best route to a nice lawn. The topsoil and power plant are a mix
that
contains organic material to help aid the growth of lawns and also soil
that will pack down well.
Use when planting seed for a new lawn or when laying sod. |
|
|
 |
Power Plant
- OMRI
Certified A blend of dairy cow manure and wood product
that is weed free. It is
fine enough to sift through your fingers and is light, making it very
easy to work with. This product is used as an alternative to mushroom
compost and organic mulch. Power Plant should not be planted directly
into because it may burn the root system of the plants. |
|
|
 |
Annual/Perennial Blend

|
 |
Topsoil - Also known
as
sandy river loam and river silt. This is the closest thing that we
carry to regular dirt. The topsoil is very heavy, weighing 2500 lbs per
yard. It is not recommended for
gardens since it does not have enough nutrients to sustain adequate
plant
growth. Used primarily to fill holes and level ground. |
