Yellow Jalapenos?

yellow jalapeno j.jpg

We've discovered some of this year's Jalapenos are, in fact, a Jarolo or "Golden Jalapeno."

Jarolo:

The golden jalapeno is about ten days earlier vs. Jalapeno M, which will start the pale/light green and change to yellow, orange, and turn red at maturity. They are 2" fruits with an umbrella-type shape and will have similar Scoville and taste to standard jalapenos.

They are great for pickling, sauces, and creating spicy foods.
